SA Dagger
The German Nazi SA dagger was the most widely produced dagger during the Nazi Germany period. Production numbers reached over 1 million. At its peak numerous mom and pop type shops emerged as manufacturers of the daggers. Over 100 factories manufactured and distributed the daggers.

The Nazi SA Dagger was also known as the brown dagger as it has a brown scabbard , brown wood grip and also has the SA logo on a small round medallion below the pommel cap. The blade inscription on the SA dagger reads "Alles fur Deutschland" which translates as "Everything for Germany". The wood grip features an aluminum nazi eagle and swastika emblem.

The SA dagger was carried by the officers of the SA or Storm Troopers (Sturmabeilung) from 1934 to 1945. The SA was basically the Nazi Party's security force referred to as the "Brownshirts".

The SA Dagger is virtually identical to the "NSKK" (Nationalsozialistisches Kraftfahrkorps) dagger carried by the Nazi Party Motor Transport Corps. However, the NSKK scabbard is black enameled with a single ring hanger, and nickel plated throat and drag.

Another dagger similar to the SA dagger is the "NPEA" (National-Politische Erzichungsanstalten) dagger that was for certain members of the National Political Education Institute. The NPEA blade has a different motto than the SA dagger and the scabbard is one piece, black enameled, with a frog stud, and without nickel-plated throat and drag.

Yet another similar dagger is the "SS" (Schutzstaffel) Dagger. The SS dagger is also virtually identical to the SA Dagger except the SS Dagger has a black handle with SS medallion and the motto on the blade usually reads "Meine Ehre heist Treue" (My Honor is Loyalty).The scabbard of the SS dagger is black enameled with single ring hanger, and nickel plated throat and drag.
